Q.Can I make my babies formula with alkaline ionized water?
Kangen Water Ionizer has a setting for the correct ph balance for babies formula.
A .In the case of infants (until about a year old), since breast milk or milk is the only thing they consume, the intestinal movement is generally different from adults, and the use of alkaline ionized water is not encouraged until the infant begins to consume more sophisticated foods. In any case, alkaline water should not be used to make powdered milk for infants. Use the filtered setting instead.
Give babies and todlers "filtered" water, not ionized, until they are about 2
To kill germs it is best to use acid water at the pH level of 2.5 - 4.
Q. Should I use a pre-filter before my Ionizer?
A. Yes, the perfect combination is to purify" Multipure System
has been recommended by Consumers Digest and Consumers
Q: How much should an installation cost?
A:installation should run between $100 and $160.
Q: How do I install the replacement filter?
Q: Should I ever clean my Ionizer?
A: Of course! In order to maintain the highest performance level of your ionizer, we recommend you do this simple cleaning procedure once per year. If the machine is used heavily or used to make a lot of strong acid or strong alkaline water, then you should repeat this procedure twice per year. Some water sources are extremely hard (high levels of minerals). When using the machine heavily with very hard water, cleaning may be necessary up to three times per year.
A good tip for keeping the plates cleaner for longer in hard water is to always press the “purified” button and let water run for 5 seconds before turning ionizer off. This will flush any concentrated minerals out from the plate cell.
Use the Orange pH drops that came with your ionizer to test your ionized water. Test once per month regularly (See DVD for pH test instructions). If you test regularly, you will know what color results your machine normally produces. Example, if you are used to seeing blue water on the 9.5 setting, and one of your routine tests results in a different color, it is probably time for a flush.
